New baby!!

Okay, not mine. But we now have a nephew! Tim and Heather's new addition, Josiah, was born on July 21, 2008, weighing 6 lb 8oz! And he's such a cutie, too! Congratuations, Tim and Heather!

Now I'm sick too...

Okay, so for the past few days, I've just been taking care of Dan and Abby - yup, they got sick at the same time. I think they planned it. They are better now. Abby's fever is gone. Dan is a little better too. But I started feeling some nasal congestion and sore throat today. I was like... NOOOO! But, oh well. At least I don't have a fever yet.

Today was just not a good day. Abby was teething like crazy and didn't want to take her nap in the afternoon. And I just wanted to rest. Guess who won? Let's just say I'm not a happy camper. Oh, well. Abby's suffering more than me I suppose. Toothache is the worst!

Birthday celebration

No time to write this weekend, but here is a short note:

I did not work on Abby's curtains yet but I did set up the sewing machine so it's ready to go tomorrow.

We had dinner at the in-laws for Dan's dad's birthday. Dan did barbeque and it was really good. :) He was nervous about the ribs, but those were the best out of all the dishes. I'm so blessed to have a husband who likes to cook and does it very well! :)
